ICPSR will host a webinar Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 3:00-4:00PM EST
(12:00-1:00PM PST). The webinar will focus on the Community College Civic
Outcomes Survey data—which will soon be released by the CivicLEADS archive.
These data will be freely available for download, providing researchers a
great opportunity for secondary analysis. Two of the study’s principal
investigators, Drs. Carrie Kisker and Dayna Weintraub, will discuss the
survey, with a special focus on the concepts, findings, and special
considerations researchers should know when conducting secondary analyses
of the data. ICSPR staff will also explain how users can access and explore
the data using CivicLEADS’s online tools. The webinar will be of particular
interest to researchers who are interested in analyzing data to explore
civic learning, democratic engagement, and community involvement—especially
in the context of community colleges.

The webinar is free and open to the public. Please share this invitation
