[DDI-users] Publishing 3.3 beta to include SDI work

Mary, Adam, and Steve,

The Technical Committee (TC) proposes to complete the development work to
create a DDI 3.3 (initially as a beta release with a possible subsequent
full release) to incorporate the work of the Survey Design and
Implementation (SDI) working group.

The purpose of this proposal is not to set a precedent for continued
expansion of the 3.x schema structure, but to acknowledge a commitment to
incorporate the work of the SDI working group in a timely manner.

The TC would like the support of the Scientific Board in this decision to
publish a 3.3 beta.
