[DDI-users] Questionnaire software which can process DDI instruments?

Achim,

That's correct, Canard supports:

- DDI 3.1 import and export and DDI3.2 export (again many thanks to Olof
Olsson from SND for his assistance and DDI/XSLT expertise)

- Adding questions, routing and responses can be added ans edited all done
through a single point and click interface. (Tutorial videos of this
functionality are available here: http://bit.ly/CanardVideos)

- imports and exports for queXML are available and an export for lime
survey will be ready by the end of the month

It also imports and exports the SSS XML format and can be used to feed
Orbeon and IBM survey tools via an XForms output.

Once imported, Canard also give a live render of the survey instrument
alongside the metadata that allows a user to verify questionnaire routing
as the metadata is being written.

I've also been working on a generic Python based Pugin architecture that in
the future will allow import and export to non-XML formats or from remote
servers, with the end goal of connecting to compliant metadata registries
(eg. Colectica).

Cheers,
Sam.
