One other point (as a bit of background). Many of the properties in
annotation were designed to support ease of translation to Dublin Core
while supporting additional pieces of information that are commonly used in
bibliographic records like designation of the parts of a name so that it
can be correctly assembled rather than depending on users to understand
bibliographic formats.
