Then it seems to best to maintain PhysicalSegmentLocation as future expansion point even it is currently not necessary.

Does this apply also to Representations-Designation?

I believe that there were multiple other subclasses of physical segment location but they were orphaned by deleting qualitative. Do we want to close off the possibility of adding them back in in the future?

DDICore_40_PIM-Classes-FormatDescription-PhysicalSegmentLocation
has no attributes, one association to ValueMapping, and one sub class, SegmentByText.

The purpose of PhysicalSegmentLocation is not clear.
It seems that PhysicalSegmentLocation could be removed and SegmentByText could have the association to ValueMapping.
