*Data Positivity: Data Doing Good*

Our theme this year is “Data Positivity: Data Doing Good.” We will focus on
stories of data making a difference in policy, healthcare, elections, and
more. We’ll include sessions on learning how to access and use data, for
beginners up to seasoned data experts. And back by popular demand, we’ll
also showcase some of the hidden data gems you can find in the ICPSR
archive.

*The Details*

*The ICPSR Biennial Meeting takes place October 6-8, 2021.* Typically held
in person, this year’s event will be held virtually and for the first time
will be completely free and open to the public.

The entire event will take place online through virtual meeting spaces such
as Zoom

*Who should come to the Biennial Meeting?*

In the past, we have invited hundreds of “train the trainers” from
institutions around the world, including academia, foundations, nonprofit
organizations, health-related organizations, think tanks, and more.

This year we are thrilled to open the Biennial Meeting to a wider audience,
including researchers, data librarians, students, health care workers,
journalists, data professionals, and all others interested in learning how
data can do good.
