Join us on May 19 at 1:00 pm EDT for a free webinar, “The Arts and Cultural
Production Satellite Account: New Statistics for 2018 and 2019,” featuring

(BEA). The webinar is hosted by the National Archive of Data on Arts &
Culture (NADAC), a data repository funded by the National Endowment for the
Arts (NEA).

Participants will get an overview of the ACPSA, learn about key findings
from the latest 2019 data, and discover ways ACPSA can be used in arts
research.

Finally, participants will learn about the ACPSA resources available on the
NEA and NADAC websites and have the opportunity to ask questions.

*About Paul V. Kern:* Paul Kern is a manager with the BEA where he oversees
the production of the annual and benchmark input-output accounts, monthly
and quarterly estimates of PCE Services, the travel and tourism accounts,
the arts and cultural production account, and the original work on the
outdoor recreation satellite account.

About ACPSA: The Arts and Cultural Production Satellite Account is produced
through the partnership between the United States Bureau of Economic
Analysis <http://www.bea.gov/> (BEA) and the National Endowment for the Arts
<https://www.arts.gov/> (NEA). Built with the BEA's input-output (I-O)
accounts, the ACPSA provides detailed statistics that illustrate the annual
economic impact of arts and cultural production on the U. S. economy from
35 industries, both commercial and nonprofit, ranging from architectural
services to sound recording. The ACPSA state-level employment data table
contains annual employment and compensation estimates for each state by
industry, and comparisons with ACPSA employment and compensation by
industry the same year. It also includes the annual total of employment in
each state across the arts and cultural commodities industries.

*About NADAC: *The National Archive of Data on Arts and Culture (NADAC) is
a repository that facilitates research on arts and culture by acquiring
data, particularly those funded by federal agencies and other
organizations, and sharing those data with researchers, policymakers,
people in the arts and culture field, and the general public. Funded by the
National Endowment for the Arts, NADAC provides arts-related data and
related resources completely free of charge.
