*2020 Four-Week Sessions: Online training in statistics and quantitative
methods*
*40+ courses online, including machine learning, Bayesian analysis, network
analysis, regression analysis, data science and text analysis, introductory
statistics, race/ethnicity and quantitative methodology, and more*

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the ICPSR Summer Program is offering
its first and second four-week sessions online in 2020. No four-week
courses will meet in-person. While we will miss spending time with our
participants and instructional staff in Ann Arbor this summer, the health
and safety of the Summer Program community is our first priority. We hope
you and your loved ones are staying well during this crisis.

The ICPSR Summer Program is still committed to providing exceptional
learning experiences. Our online four-week courses will give you the
methodological tools you need to conduct cutting-edge research on important
substantive issues. Our four-week schedule features a buffet of courses on
a variety of topics and methods, as well as training for all skill levels,
from basic to intermediate and advanced.

Our top-notch instructional staff—including more than 100 respected
instructors and teaching assistants—will continue to provide one-on-one
guidance to all participants via virtual video platforms.

During both sessions we’ll also offer our Blalock Lecture Series

which features nightly talks and presentations by esteemed researchers on a
variety of topics, including issues related to professional development and
socialization, as well as measurement issues and research on race,
ethnicity, and gender.

There will also be opportunities to connect online with fellow participants
and instructors. We believe it is as important as ever to connect with
researchers from around the world and build a community of friends,
collaborators, mentors, and future colleagues.

If you’ve always wanted to attend our four-week sessions, but couldn’t find
the time to make it to Ann Arbor for one or two months during the summer,
we hope you’ll join us online in 2020.
