[ICPSR] ICPSR is looking for an associate director to join its leadership team

The Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR)
seeks to appoint an Associate Director to participate in ICPSR’s leadership
and to manage its collection development and dissemination activities.

The Associate Director will provide senior leadership in partnership with
the Consortium’s Director and will manage a portfolio of internally and
externally-funded projects that acquire data, prepare them for future
research, and provide guidance to the research community in best practices
for data collection, access, and preservation. She or he will also work
closely with the members of ICPSR’s governing Council.

This position involves the direct supervision of ICPSR’s research staff,
archivists, and curation team, with a staff of over 75 and annual budget of
$10 million. The Associate Director will work with ICPSR staff and the
research community to develop new archival collections, interact with
current and prospective sponsors, and write grant proposals and
applications. The Associate Director has general oversight of the
management and budget of the ICPSR archive.
