*2016 ICPSR Summer Program in Quantitative Methods of Social Research *

The ICPSR Summer Program offers rigorous, hands-on training in statistics,
quantitative methods, and data analysis for students, faculty, researchers,
and policy-makers across the social, behavioral, and medical sciences. Our
curriculum includes courses in introductory statistics, regression
analysis, maximum likelihood estimation, Bayesian analysis, time series,
network analysis, and other topics. In 2016, the ICPSR Summer Program is
offering more than 75 courses in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and other cities
across the US.

*CURRICULUM*
*Four-Week Sessions*
The Summer Program’s four-week sessions provide an immersive experience for
learning statistics and quantitative methods while developing professional
relationships with students and researchers from around the world. Held in
Ann Arbor, Michigan, each session features a broad curriculum of courses
that participants may attend. In 2016, the First Session will be held from
June 20 - July 15, and the Second Session will be held from July 18 -
August 12.

*Three- to Five-Day Workshops*
The Summer Program also offers short workshops for those who need to learn
a specific technique or method in a few days. From May through August 2016,
the Summer Program is offering more than 35 short workshops in Ann Arbor,
MI, and other cities across the US. Our short workshop schedule includes
new workshops, as well as returning courses on network analysis, lab and
field experiments, data reproducibility and transparency, Bayesian
analysis, text analytics, mixed methods, qualitative methods, spatial
econometrics, and regression discontinuity designs.


*SCHOLARSHIPS*
ICPSR scholarships provide a tuition waiver of registration fees for the
