Re: Unable to validate XML against the DDI 2.5 schema

Hi, Domingo.

Yes, there is a problem with ICPSR's DDI 2.5 exports, which do not validate
because there are a couple of errors in the document header (the "codeBook"
line).
We are aware of this bug and are working to fix it.

Until then, in order to use ICPSR's DDI 2.5 exports please replace the
current header:
<codeBook xsi:schemaLocation="
http://www.ddialliance.org/Specification/DDI-Codebook/2.5/XMLSchema/codebook.xsd"
xmlns="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns="ddi:codebook:2_5" xmlns="
http://purl.org/dc/terms/" xmlxsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance
">

with this:
<codeBook xmlns="ddi:codebook:2_5" xmlns:xsi="
http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="ddi:
codebook:2_5
http://www.ddialliance.org/Specification/DDI-Codebook/2.5/XMLSchema/codebook.xsd"
xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:dcterms="
http://purl.org/dc/terms/">

Thank you,
Sanda.
