[DDI-users] DDI Controlled Vocabularies Available

Dear DDI Community,

 

I am pleased to announce the release of the first set of DDI Controlled Vocabularies <http://www.ddialliance.org/controlled-vocabularies> , developed by the Controlled Vocabularies Group (CVG):

*	Atle Alvheim, Norwegian Social Science Data Service (NSD)
*	Sharon Bolton, United Kingdom Data Archive (UKDA)
*	Sanda Ionescu, Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR)
*	Taina Jääskeläinen, Finnish Social Science Data Archive (FSD)
*	Chryssa Kappi, National Center for Social Research (EKKE), Greece
*	Meinhard Moschner, GESIS -- Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences
*	Hilde Orten, Norwegian Social Science Data Service (NSD)
*	Randy Michael Raphael, University of Utah

with technical work performed by Joachim Wackerow of GESIS and technical support from the TIC group. The CVG welcomes testing and comments from the community.  Additional vocabularies will be added to the site as they are completed.
