<p style="line-height:1.5;padding:0 10px">Over 170 attendees from 86 institutions joined ICPSR in Ann Arbor for 18 workshops and sessions October 16-18 for Data Storytelling! The biennial meeting highlighted ICPSR’s current data collections, collaborations, data-related tools, and evolving data projects. The meeting featured a keynote data story from Dr. Raj Chetty titled: “<a href="https://youtu.be/NJwG13SE2Gg" target="_blank">Improving Equality of Opportunity in America: New Insights form Big Data</a>.” It also featured a <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N93HJeky3Q8&list=PLqC9lrhW1VvYPbfzPGl9w0ZdAdvyNkGVx&index=2&t=31s" target="_blank">red carpet welcome</a> as Data Storytelling stars arrived to the events! Allyson Flaster manages research activities for the <a href="https://www.icpsr.umich.edu/icpsrweb/content/about/mellon-project.html" target="_blank">College and Beyond II</a> initiative at ICPSR. Trisha Martinez joins ICPSR as the Director of Computing and Network Services. A.J. Million is the Director of the <a href="https://www.icpsr.umich.edu/icpsrweb/content/NACJD/index.html" target="_blank">National Archive of Criminal Justice Data</a>, which facilitates research in criminal justice and criminology. And, John Lemmer joins the ICPSR team as its Center Administrator directing the Administration Unit.</p>
