<p style="line-height:1.5">Registration for the <a href="http://www.icpsr.umich.edu/sumprog/" target="_blank">2017 Summer Program</a> is open. The four-week courses run June 26-July 21 and July 24-August 18. And, numerous three- to five-day workshops beginning in May are also in the mix!</p>

<p style="padding-top:15px;line-height:1.5">ICPSR has joined widespread efforts to preserve valuable US government data that may be hard to find or inaccessible in the future. <a href="http://www.datalumos.org/" target="_blank">DataLumos</a> launched on February 15 as a crowd-sourced repository where the public can archive government data resources, ensuring their long-term availability. <p style="line-height:1.5">ICPSR is remodeling its data infrastructure and user experience (UX) from the point of data deposit to point of access. The goal is to create a more intuitive UX with added data tools. Testing the UX will be paramount to achieving this goal over the course of the next several months. With over 17 workshops and sessions in development, this biennial meeting will highlight ICPSR’s core functions, featuring current data collections and data-related tools
and exciting new data projects. The meeting will also feature practical approaches and strategies to work with data producers to share data, write data management plans, steward discipline-focused repositories, and locate tools and resources to assist in curating and managing research data.
