Baby FACES followed two cohorts of children through their time in Early Head Start, starting in 2009, the first wave of data collection, through age 3, with the final round of data collected in spring 2012.</font></p></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="color:rgb(0,0,0);font-family:Times;font-size:medium"><p style="margin:0px"><font style="line-height:17.12px;background-image:initial;background-repeat:initial">Baby FACES project leads from Mathematica Policy Research will instruct this two-day data training, which will introduce researchers to the study’s objectives, methods, instruments, key findings, and data structure.<font> </font>Throughout the day there will be hands-on time with the data files and structured exercises.<font> </font>Day two will focus on missing data and imputation and child-level home visitor and teacher data, along with time to work with the data on your own with instructors present for consultation.</font><font style="line-height:17.12px"></font></p></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="color:rgb(0,0,0);font-family:Times;font-size:medium"><p style="margin:0px"><font style="line-height:17.12px;background-image:initial;background-repeat:initial"><br></font></p></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="color:rgb(0,0,0);font-family:Times;font-size:medium"><p style="margin:0px">The Baby FACES <a href="http://www.researchconnections.org/childcare/studies/36074">data files</a> are already available on a restricted basis for secondary analysis through <i>Research Connections</i>. Researchers interested in using the Baby FACES data to answer policy relevant questions in early care and education are encouraged to apply. Participants must have programming experience in one or more of the following software packages: SAS, Stata, or SPSS. In addition, participants should have experience using large, complex survey data.
