ICPSR community remembers former Director Jerome Clubb
<https://umich.us14.list-manage.com/track/click?u=22efdb2c40e55b8126be00251&id=4a1879d47f&e=e234a716ba>,
who died on Dec. 15, 2021, in Vancouver, Washington, at 93. Known as the
director who put the “S” in ICPSR, Clubb first directed ICPR's Historical
Data Archive from the mid-1960s to the mid-1970s. He helped establish the
Consortium's two oldest topical archives — the National Archive of Data on
Aging and the National Archive of Criminal Justice Data. In 1968, Clubb
established ICPSR's Summer Training Program Seminar in Quantitative
Historical Analysis, the longest continuous training venue for historical
analysis in the social sciences. Clubb received ICPSR’s Warren Miller Award
for Meritorious Service to the Social Sciences in 2003.

also remember the life and impact of data steward Piper Simmons
<https://umich.us14.list-manage.com/track/click?u=22efdb2c40e55b8126be00251&id=ac7f6b6afc&e=e234a716ba>,
who passed away on Jan. 21, 2022, at 63. Simmons retired in 2019 with over
32 years of service and dedication to ICPSR and the University of Michigan.
Simmons' most recent role at ICPSR was as a member of the Project
Management and User Support unit and as a member of the Acquisitions team.
She played a key role in helping depositors, assisting researchers with
data management plans, and establishing ICPSR's acquisitions leads
workflow.

American adults believe in love at first sight. Whether your love is for
