Spring into ICPSR for a Bit!

Spring is in full bloom in Ann Arbor, and ICPSR is blossoming with many
bits and bytes to share!

2017 Biennial ICPSR Meeting — Registration is Open!

ICPSR has laid the foundation for the biennial meeting that will take place
October 11-13, 2017. The theme is, "*Building for a Data-Driven Future*,"
and the meeting program

is focused on professional development and practical tips for delivering
data services to your institutions. Over 17 workshops and sessions will
deliver practical approaches and strategies to discover and access research
data, work with data producers to share data, write data management plans,
and locate tools and resources to assist in curating, preserving, and
managing research data while utilizing ICPSR's resources. Workshops fill

A Bouquet of Fresh Workshops!

The 2017 ICPSR Meeting will offer five workshops

taking place on Wednesday, October 11. Workshops offer gentle introductions
to understanding research methods metadata and statistical software,
teaching with data, curating and managing research data for re-use, and an

Share your Data in a New Fashion this Spring!

ICPSR is in the midst of replacing its digital asset management system from
ingest (deposit) to access (dissemination). The beta launch of the new
deposit manager has launched and is ready to accept your data deposits!
Among other benefits, the ICPSR deposit manager
<http://www.icpsr.umich.edu/icpsrweb/deposit/index.jsp> offers depositors
more control over the presentation of data and documentation files, more
project status communications, and a customizable workspace. Still more
enhancements will roll out this summer!
