Both the US and China have experienced significant changes in their spatial
structures and distributions of population and business within recent
years. The county-level data provide an important source for understanding
the socio-spatial dynamics in both countries. This webinar will discuss the
availability, comparability, and accessibility of those county-level data
for the spatial study of the US and China. It will demonstrate how to
explore the changing structures and spatial patterns of population and
business in the US and China with China and US Geo-Explorers. Those data
include government statistics, census data, and business data at county
level.
