This workshop will educate researchers on how to find information about
restricted-use data on the National Addiction & HIV Data Archive Program
(NAHDAP) Website and how to apply online for access to these data through
ICPSR’s Data Access Request System (IDARS). The objectives of the webinar
are to:

1. Describe why NAHDAP distributes restricted-use data.
2. Understand the general process of making a data access request.
3. Review the main pages of the IDARS application.
4. Discuss the frequently asked questions that arise as researchers
complete the application.
