Dear list members:
With the recent publication of waves three to six, the EU Neighbourhood Barometer micro data are now completely available through the GESIS Data Archive for the Social Sciences.
The EU Neighbourhood Barometer is a cross-national comparative survey programme which was commissioned by the European Commission, DG Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations (Unit B2) and implemented by TNS opinion. The repeated cross-section surveys were conducted between 2012 and 2014, in 16 Southern and Eastern EU neighbourhood countries, from Morocco to Libya, except Syria, and from Azerbaijan to Belarus, plus Russia.

Betreff: [Eurobarometer] ERRATUM: Q38 in Candidate Countries Eurobarometer 2002.1 (GESIS study ZA4153)

Dear list members:

The following problem has been detected in Candidate Countries Eurobarometer 2002.1<http://dx.doi.org/10.4232/1.12465> for variables q38_1 to q38_15:

The 5-point rating scale for variables q38_1 to q38_15 is inverted in the archive release dataset versions v1.0.0 and v1.0.1 . This is true for the value labels as well as for the variable documentation in ZACAT. The value labels should read as follows: 1 "strongly disagree", 2 "disagree", 3 "neither agree nor disagree", 4 "agree", 5 "strongly agree".

Please apologize for any inconvenience. The dataset will be corrected at the next opportunity.

With best regards
