[Eurobarometer] Project: Value-Added Services for Information Retrieval

Dear list members,

GESIS is running a research project called Value-Added Services for 
Information Retrieval which implements and investigates different search 
services for scientists. The goal of the project is to evaluate whether, 
and to what extent search quality will be improved for users by applying 
the services under study.

To experiment and measure the value-added of these technologies, we are 
searching for scientists, who are evaluating the relevance of result 
sets from different databases (e.g. Sociological Abstracts) for their 
specific research topics.

GESIS-Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences is an institution 
devoted to research and service, which by providing information, 
consultation, and data, supports and facilitates scientific working the 
Social Sciences.
