<div dir="ltr">Hi all,<div><br></div><div>To coincide with the recent public release of DDI 3.2, I have released a plugin for the Canard Question Module Editor that allows designers to export DDI 3.2 directly from the editor. This works with the current Canard 0.2.1, so current uses can begin creating DDI 3.2 Questionnaires immediately. For new users, the latest release can be downloaded from GitHub: <a href="http://bit.ly/canard_releases">http://bit.ly/canard_releases</a></div>
<div><br></div><div>To begin creating DDI 3.2 questionnaires:</div><div><br></div><div>1. Download the plugin here: <a href="http://bit.ly/1ijnlUH">http://bit.ly/1ijnlUH</a></div><div>2. Browse to the directory where Canard has been copied or installed.</div>
<div>3. Browse to the "plugins/export" directory</div><div>4. Unzip the contents of of the downloaded zip file to a new directory in the export directory (this should be called "Canard_DDI3.2" by default).</div>
<div>5. Next time opening the Canard Editor a new option should appear under the menu at "File>Export" titled "SQBL 0.1 to DDI-Lifecycle 3.2" followed by the directory name in brackets.</div><div><br>
</div><div>This DDI 3.2 export has been included into the main source for Canard and will be released as a standard part of the next release, Canard 0.2.2 schedule for release in June. The next release will include support for boolean questions, enhanced support for live previews of grid and looped questions.</div>
<div><br></div><div>As always, bugs with this can be logged on the GitHub issue tracker here: <a href="https://github.com/LegoStormtroopr/canard/issues?state=open">https://github.com/LegoStormtroopr/canard/issues?state=open</a></div>
<div><br></div><div>Cheers,</div><div>Sam.</div></div>
