Chifundo:
You should not have any issue running Apache+pHp and Tomcat on the same 
server, that's a very standard and common configuration (assuming Tomcat 
is on port 8080 and Apache httpd on 80). No the confusing part below is 
about your multiple instance on MySql. You should only have one SQL server.
Also, what apps are you running under tomcat?
