fida is an element-wise XML revision tracking and version control

The software can be used to do both the revision tracking
and the version control of any XML file that uses
a language similar to DDI or SDMX.

Latest news:

- Renaming of the tracked XML elements is now supported.

- Branching and merging of tracked XML elements is now supported.

- Updated lifelines display accordingly so that
   branches and merges are shown.

- Updated reference migration accordingly. There are
new switches "-cautious", "-smart" and "-rash" that can be used
to invoke different strategies for migrating through branched nodes.

- New command "nodeinfo" which displays information regarding
individual tracked XML elements. More specifically, it can be
used to list predecessors and successors for the specified node.

- New switch "-report" for the reference migration which outputs
all the migration decisions made at branching nodes.

- New tutorial explaing the renaming, branching and merging xids.
Also, the new reference migration strategies are discussed.
