[DDI-users] CATI - type surveys and the DDI

I think this could be difficult using the current DDI as all the question
material is imbeded in the variables. One of the pieces of Version 3.0 is
a separate module that describes a questionnaire. This is something thats
been on the "to do" list for Version 2.0 for some time.

There was work done on creating a questionnaire development tool for the
ISP called the ISP-datawizard. This was a project worked on by ZA and IZ
in Germany. They were primarily dealing with multilanguage questionnaires
but the output was supposed to feed the DDI and question information
currently held in <var>. Meinhard or Oliver may be able to provide
additional information. I think Tom Piazza has looked at some of the
CATI ramifications.
